One Man, Two Guvnors

Southside’s October 2016 production was One Man, Two Guvnors by Richard Bean, directed by Sabrina Luisi.

One Man, Two Guvnors is based on the commedia dell’arte style comedy ‘Servant of Two Masters’, originally written in 1743.  Richard Bean’s adaptation retains the storyline of the original but also injects the comedy of 60s Brighton, filled with colour, chaos and the discovery that pubs also do food. Blimey!
